B’nai Brith Calgary Lodge #816 and Calgary Lodge Menorah Foundation is a grassroots non-profit group committed to supporting local organizations who serve the ill or disadvantaged and/or provide programming for children, youth, and seniors.

For over 100 years, the Lodge has been pleased to provide financial assistance to numerous Jewish and non-Jewish community charities that apply for funding. Historically, we have supported the Calgary community during flu epidemics, in war bond drives, human rights activities, summer camps for disabled children, health institutes (Children’s Hospital, Cardiovascular Institute, Prostate Cancer Centre), youth programming, provided support to war veterans, donated cars to disabled children’s charities, and many more. Over this time, we have donated over $4 million in support of over 80 local services (a complete list can be found on https://bnaibrithcalgary.org/supported-organizations/).
